The Inebriations is a rock trio in the classic mold, with sounds that sometimes remind listeners of The Rolling Stones, Sun Studio Memphis and the electric blues of the sixties and seventies.

The original sound was influenced by the neo-americana movement of the 2010s. Over time, and lineup changes the band has morphed into a louder electric but rootsy rock that’s always been its backbone. They’re calling it, “Post-Americana”.
From 2015-2017, The Inebriations released an EP (The Whiskey Wanderlust EP) and a smattering of singles before going dormant for a short time. By 2019, there were new songs and a newfound energy, driven by some bluesy material influenced by some dark days. It was clearly time to get back to the recording studio, double down and relaunch the band.
Basic tracks for 14 songs were recorded in Spring of 2019 at the world class Power Station New England studios in Connecticut.
With Producer Brian Sargent the band is working to complete this batch of songs at Aberrant Sound in Wrentham. The material be released as individual singles then packaged as a set of EPs.
The first single, “Whiskey Bottle Blues” — a snapshot of one man’s journey into self-medication — was released on September 20, 2019 on Aberrant Sounds’ in-house label, Brewhouse Records. “Whiskey Bottle Blues” will be the first track on the upcoming “From the Darkness” EP. This EP and its’ followup, titled “Into The Light” will be released in 2020.
